Orbit-ED

Orbit-Ed is an immersive learning start up based out of the National Science & Technology Park. The design focuses on an open workspace that is geared towards interaction between all employees, regardless of position.

As a recent start up that is still evolving, economic and spatial efficiency was a major consideration in the project. Thus, the programs and elements have been executed in a manner that maximizes their impact while minimizing cost. The potential of multiple existing features was identified and adapted to the final design.

The space reflects the company’s identity, the use of Orbit’s colors in different elements across the design, from the walls and the carpet, to the ceiling and the lighting create an immersive experience. The clean walls in the main workspace are complemented by the custom metal planters, the plants bring an organic natural element that balances the high-tech environment, and express the growth that is key to the goals of Orbit itself. The materiality of the planters connects with the rest of the design in both color and texture. Smart storage solutions have been seamlessly integrated into the design. The resultant project delivers an office space that creates a comfortable and efficient work environment while exhibiting the company’s identity at every step.
